Here are a few examples of showers that have received our shower restoration service. Some showers are man-made tile such as porcelain or ceramic. Others are natural stone like marble or travertine.
Natural stone showers such as travertine, marble or slate require different services, tools, chemicals and techniques when restoring. A few extra services offered for travertine and marble showers are: honing, polishing and natural stone tile sealing. Resurfacing natural stone showers always leaves it looking brand new again! Generally this is done when there is soap scum and hard water buildup on the stone.

No. We will only perform whats necessary for your showers specific needs. If you wanted us to perform a complete overhaul to ensure your shower is completely restored, we would be happy to do so.
This is completely preference. Whether you would want something matte finish or mirror finish we can deliver. If you are seeking longevity we generally recommend a medium finish because you still have the benefits of a shinier floor without it deteriorating as quickly as a high gloss finish. Mirror finishes look great but will immediately show any scratches or blemishes.
For man-made tile we only seal the grout, not the tile itself. We recommend sealing your shower grout every 3 years or less. We recommend sealing your travertine shower tile every 1-2 years to ensure it is safe and protected from any water damage or etching. Travertine requires a natural stone impregnating sealant.
The duration of shower restoration is dependent on what services are being performed and the severity of the situation.
Generally shower restoration is completed within the same day, between 3-6 hours.
Arizona in general has very hard water, therefore causing efflorescence or calcium deposits to occur. More rural areas, such as Cave Creek, generally suffer from more mineral rich water amplifying the issue. Being more intercity, Phoenix, Scottsdale, you will have less mineral dense water.
A water softener is overall a great investment if you live in the Phoenix Metro Area.

AZ Tile Grout is not responsible for cracked grout or missing grout due to improper installation. Cleaning with high pressure can remove grout, color sealers and damage some satin-finished natural stones in rare instances. We do our absolute best to prevent this from ever happening.
